For those who couldn't attend Freelancer Friday, here's a quick recap of what was discussed. First and foremost, our team has been hard at work improving our product and addressing user feedback. We are committed to providing the best experience for our freelancers, and we take your feedback seriously.

We also have some exciting news to share with you. A company (based in Kenya) is hiring a data architect/engineer. We’re helping them with placement and we will be sharing more information about this opportunity as soon as possible. In the meantime, we encourage all freelancers to complete their Black Freelancer profile by adding projects to showcase their skills.

We are thrilled to announce that we will be expanding our partnering with the Near Foundation (subscribe to

Near Launch

) in the coming days! More details will be shared in the soon, so stay tuned.

HubSpot

will be hosting another networking session for freelancers in partnership with Black Freelancer, following the success of our last session. We will be sure to share the date and time with you all once it's confirmed. We are also working on a documentary that highlights exciting projects like ours that positively impact lives, and Black Freelancer will be featured. We can't wait to share this with you all.

We recently posted a comprehensive help and resources guide available on our website, with free information to help freelancer’s in our community up-skill. We are constantly adding more libraries and resources, and we encourage you to check it out 👀.

We recently had our first meeting with volunteer Discord moderators, and we're in good hands. If you have any questions or feedback, please don't hesitate to reach out by sending a DM.
