Like many, I’ve recently learned about ChatGPT, and I am amazed by the potential that the technology provides.

For those of you who are unaware, ChatGPT is an artificial intelligence language model trained by OpenAI whose primary function is to assist users by providing information and answering questions using a chatbot user interface.

Lately, I’ve logged into ChatGPT and asked ‘It’ questions while taking my morning coffee.

This morning I asked ChatGPT to “Tell Me About Black Freelancer,” and the results surprised me (specifically the third paragraph). See below!👇🏾

“A black freelancer is an independent professional who works on a project-by-project basis rather than being employed by a company on a full-time basis. They may work in various fields, such as writing, design, consulting, or programming, and may have a range of clients.

Freelancers are self-employed individuals who are responsible for managing their own time, setting their own rates and terms, and finding their own clients. This can provide a great deal of flexibility and freedom. Still, it also means freelancers are responsible for their financial security and may need to work harder to find and secure new projects.

As a black freelancer, an individual may face additional challenges due to systemic racism and discrimination. It is important for black freelancers to be proactive in advocating for themselves and their work and to seek out resources and support to help them succeed in their careers. Organizations and networks specifically designed to support black freelancers, such as BlackFreelancer.com, provide resources and networking opportunities for professionals in this community.”
